Five Class AAAA football team are undefeated going into tonight's stacked schedule of high school games around the state, and two things are certain.
Clover will be 6-0 after the games because the Blue Eagles have a bye week from opening the season with a Week 0 game.
The other certainty is that at least one of the four teams with games will suffer its first loss. That's because No. 2 Northwestern travels to No. 5 North Augusta for a non-region super-match, with each team sporting a 5-0 record.
"It's incredible to have a game like this one so far into the season," Northwestern coach Jimmy Wallace said. "There are a bunch of good teams in the state, and it's unusual to have two that are undefeated playing in the sixth week.

"We are up against a scoring machine. North Augusta is wide open and was in front of Sumter 21-0 last week at the half. They have scored a ton of points, so we'll have to stop them or outscore them. We don't talk about being undefeated. We talk about getting prepared to play our best every game."
North Augusta has scored 168 points, an average of more than 33 points per game. Not too shabby - until you look at Northwestern's numbers, 205 points and a 41-per-game average.
So will the difference come on defense? Maybe, maybe not. The Trojans have allowed 81 points, the Yellow Jackets 73.
To stop Northwestern, the Yellow Jackets must put the clamps on quarterback Justin Worley, who is enjoying a good senior season. He has completed an incredible 127-of-184 passes for 1,629 yards and 23 touchdowns. In two and a half years as the Trojans' starter, he has passed for 9,636 yards and 115 TDs. He accepted a scholarship from the Tennessee Volunteers.
Worley will have top target Robert Joseph available. Brandon Lewis has been on a five-day suspension for violating team rules. Worley also will have Stewart Hunt and B.J. Boyd, who last week stepped up with 10 catches for 198 yards and a pair of scores.
The other two undefeated Class AAAA teams are No. 1-ranked Dorman and No. 3 Goose Creek, each with a 5-0 record. Goose Creek hosts 1-4 Stratford tonight. Dorman plays at 1-4 Hillcrest.
Wallace sang the praises of other local teams, saying this area is blessed with talent. Class AA's Indian Land and Westminster Catawba, a private Christian school, are also 5-0.
Indian Land plays on the road in its first game in Region 4-AA after moving up a division this year, with a matchup against 2-3 Andrew Jackson.
Westminster Catawba celebrates homecoming tonight against Village Christian, an 0-5 private school team from Fayetteville, N.C.
A pair of local 4-1 teams line up tonight. Rock Hill, which lost to South Pointe, is on the road against Ridge View at Blythewood High School.
South Pointe, which suffered its only loss to Northwestern, hosts an improving 3-2 Fort Mill squad in the Region 4-AAA opener for both.
Region 4-AAA play opens for York with a big game at Chester, and Nation Ford is on the road against 5-0 Fairfield Central in Winnsboro.
Region 3-A tips off league games, with Great Falls hosting Columbia's C.A. Johnson and Lewisville at McBee.
Also on tap is a Class AAAA non-region game - Blythewood at Lancaster.
