Man, 55, identified as victim of fatal wreck off Cherry Road, Rock Hill
A 55-year-old man died Sunday afternoon in an accident involving a motorcycle and pickup truck off Cherry Road in Rock Hill, according to the York County Coroner’s Office.
Robert Armstrong of Columbia was riding the motorcycle, according to the coroner’s office. There were no other injuries, Myers said.
The crash happened around 4 p.m., said Rock Hill police officer Paul Myers, a spokesman for the department.
The accident happened at the intersection of Cherry Road and Patriot Parkway, according to the coroner’s office.
The accident remains under investigation and toxicology testing will be conducted Monday afternoon, the office said. Results can take several weeks.
