Carowinds donates to Operation Christmas Child
More than 30,000 toys and novelties donated by the Carowinds theme park are headed to children around the world through Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse.
Through Operation Christmas Child, shoeboxes filled with gifts – such as a a doll and other fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items – are packed and distributed to millions of children in more than 100 countries worldwide.
“Carowinds is proud to team up with Operation Christmas Child to help put smiles on the faces of children around the world,” said John Taylor, vice president of marketing at Carowinds. “We are able to help create a ‘best day experience’ for the less fortunate, and we’re proud to be a part of communities both near and far.”
