York Co. jury finds ex-officer not guilty of impersonating police, pointing gun

A former Richland County deputy was found not guilty by a York County jury late Wednesday after a trial where police and prosecutors alleged he impersonated a police officer and pointed a gun at a woman during a traffic confrontation last year, according to York County court officials.

Michael Caroselli denied all charges and claimed that he was scared when he was followed.

The trial lasted two days until jurors came back with not guilty verdict late Wednesday night.
