The Charlotte Eagles are hosting the Chicago Fire May 29 at Winthrop University in the third round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup soccer tournament. Last season, Charlotte reached the quarterfinals of the tournament, which is open to all American soccer teams, amateur and professional.
