Looking for a real Christmas tree? Find them at these lots in the Charlotte area

Winter at Whitewater at the Whitewater Center includes Christmas trees for sale.

If you’re looking for a real Christmas tree in the Charlotte area this year, you’re in luck — there are plenty of local tree lots to choose from.

While many grocery and hardware stores carry real trees, there’s something uniquely festive about heading to a tree lot to find the perfect one for your home.

This year, Christmas tree sales in North Carolina could be impacted by the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene, but industry officials remain hopeful there will be no “significant effect on supply,” The Charlotte Observer reported in October. The River Hills/Lake Wylie Lions Club recently announced on Facebook that its more than 20-year tradition of selling trees will be put on hold this year due to low supply.

Here’s our list of tree lots in the Charlotte area.
