Jaclyn Smith, 80, Says the Real Fountain of Youth Isn't Found in a Bottle

Age is definitely just a number for Charlie's Angels legend Jaclyn Smith. The 80-year-old actress recently shared her secret to ageless beauty, saying true beauty comes from the inside out.

"Clean living, being loved," she told Fox News about her healthy glow. "I have the best family in the whole wide world to grow up with. Great husband, two beautiful children, three granddaughters. So, it doesn't get better than that. It's all about love, all about family with me." Smith has been married to surgeon Brad Allen for 29 years. She shares her two children, Gaston and Spencer Margaret, with her third ex-husband, cinematographer Anthony B. Richmond.

Smith shared her definition of clean living with Fox News in 2022. I don't drink. I've never touched a drug. I exercise daily," she said. "I'm married to a heart surgeon who preaches the importance of eating your fruits and vegetables. I enjoy my green drinks. What we put on our bodies shows up on our faces."

She also revealed that keeping her mind active and engaged is another pathway to vibrancy. I've never gone through a midlife crisis because I've always kept busy working and I've always been challenged… It's rewarding to stay in the game," she explained. "I'm also not obsessed with aging. I think that ages you. I also live a full life with my two children. Each of them has a daughter and my life revolves around them. They take me back to a place of such magic and innocence. I think all of those things have kept me young."

Smith also focuses on eating plenty of fruits and vegetables - including green drinks packed with veggies - but doesn't believe in depriving herself. She shared that she still enjoys foods like burgers, pizza, cheese, and gummy bears, stressing that moderation is the key to both happiness and healthy living. She's also kind to her body, and being overly strict can backfire and even affect your mood, while balance is ultimately more rewarding.
