Watch: Stephen Amell shares teaser for 'Baywatch' sequel series

May 26 (UPI) --Arrow and Heels alum Stephen Amell shared a teaser over the weekend for his new Baywatch sequel series, which is expected to premiere in January on Fox.

"I dream in slow motion. #baywatch @foxtv @dramaclubfox @baywatchtv," Amell captioned the video, which shows one man surfing and lifeguards in the signature Baywatch red bathing suits running on the sand.

The words, "Same beach, new blood," appear on the screen.

Amell will play Hobie Buchannon, the son of David Hasselhoff's Mitch from the original show, which ran from 1989 to 2001.

Brooks Nader, Livvy Dunne and Jessica Belkin are set to co-star.

A 2017 Baywatch action comedy movie starred Dwayne Johnson as Mitch.
