Russell Crowe: Everybody got their autograph, selfie at Paris hotel

May 26 (UPI) --Gladiator and Nuremberg star Russell Crowe took to X Tuesday to tell his side of the story of what happened when autograph seekers swarmed him outside a Paris hotel.

TMZ shared a video Monday of the Oscar-winner asking people holding posters to move out of the way from the hotel entrance and promising to come to them and sign their memorabilia as long as they weren't rude and didn't "[expletive] push in" on him.

He also vowed to leave if anyone was a [expletive].

The headline for the media outlet's story was: "Russell Crowe Explodes on Pushy Autograph Seekers: Back Off Or I'm Gone."

"Clickbait," Crowe wrote on X. "Everybody got their autograph and selfie, the passage to the hotel was kept free for guests, and I still got to the airport on time. One man, no security. Handled. What's your problem?"
