Chart-Topping Country Stars Sued Over Nashville Business Venture

Country music superstarsJason Aldean andLuke Bryan- with with former MLB first baseman Adam LaRoche and Outlaws LLC (restaurant leasing company) - are being sued over the closing of their E3 Chophouse restaurant in Nashville's Hillsboro Village neighborhood, according to Nashville Business Journal. The three are celebrity investors in the steakhouse chain, whose original location was located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

The lawsuit alleges the owners failed to pay rent and violated their lease when the restaurant closed in February of this year. The lawsuit seeks damages not limited to outstanding rent including past due rent and rent due through the term of lease (which ends in 2029).

E3 Chophouse opened in Nashville back in 2019, and the restaurant was located in an upscale Nashville neighborhood with Vanderbilt and Belmont Universities nearby. The three-story restaurant spanned 13,000 square feet in size and cost $4 million to build. The minimum rent for the space was almost $25,000 a month for the first five years, with a rent increase for the second half of the 10-year lease term.

According to the June 12 complaint, the suit claims E3 Chophouse failed to pay rent for January and February of 2026, nor did they reopen the restaurant or surrender the property after notices of default and eventually a notice of termination of lease were sent. Additional legal actions followed with a default judgement on April 29 against Outlaws LLC in favor of GBT in the amount of $1.427 million in` damages. E3's legal team filed a notice of appeal on May 1.
