Saluda Trail Middle School presents Disney’s “The Lion King Jr.” at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. The 90-minute production features 34 students led by Pam Johnson and Lauren Yon. Admission is $7.

Singer-songwriter Marti Jones and recording artist and producer Don Dixon will perform at 7:30 p.m. at the Community Performance Center, 249 E. Main St., Rock Hill. The McCelvey Center’s Southern Sound Series presents Drew Holcomb, an emerging singer/songwriter from Memphis who leads the Nashville-based band The Neighbors, at 7:30 p.m. at McCelvey’s Lowry Family Theater, 212 E. Dallas based composer, arranger and bassist Kris Berg and his big band Metroplexity will perform at the 14th Annual Jazz Discovery Music Festival at 7:30 p.m. at the Northwestern High School Auditorium, Rock Hill. Berg and members of his ensemble will also perform with the Senior Jazz Ensemble at 3 p.m. and present free instrument clinics starting at 3:45. The festival includes performances by North Carolina and South Carolina high school and middle school bands during the day and a performance by the Coastal Carolina University Jazz Combo at noon.
