Channel The Stones through Satisfaction Friday at Bundy Auditorium in Lancaster
Whether they’re really the bad boys of R&R or not – the shadowy ying to The Beatles light, bright yang – The Rolling Stones are rock royalty. Their 50-plus year reign at the top attests to their power as the quintessential edgy, bluesy rock rebels with the ever so naughty, haughty persona that has served them so well.
Successfully capturing the Stones enigma is a daunting task, so expect Satisfaction The International Rolling Stones Show live Friday at Bundy Auditorium at USC-Lancaster to bring the necessary heat.
Satisfaction celebrates their own milestone of 16 years paying homage to The Stones with over 2,500 performances channeling the “glimmer twins” Mick and Keith et al.
To do this Satisfaction employs top production, authentic costuming, staging, plus a lineup to showcase 50 years of classic hits featuring the talents of Chris LeGrand as Mick Jagger; Jim Riddick as Keith Richards; Kevin Smith as Ron Wood; John Wade as Bill Wyman; and Ron Nelson as Charlie Watts.
Sure, “it’s only rock & roll…” but plenty have liked it as rave reviews have followed Satisfaction. In 2005, they debuted in Las ; in 2007 they were featured in a CBS News special regarding the rising popularity of the tribute industry; in 2008 the band was picked to assist in the promotion of a new Rolling Stones concert film; they closed out 2008 headlining a New Years Eve gala in Las Vegas to a capacity crowd of 30,000; and in 2010 debuted "A Symphony For The Devil" with the Satisfaction cast performing with symphony orchestras around the world.
Sure, the original Stones are still with us and often touring, but concerts and tickets are limited and pricey, so while “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” fans have found “if you try sometimes you get what you need…” via Satisfaction The International Rolling Stones Show Friday at Bundy Auditorium at USC-Lancaster, 476 Hubbard Drive, Lancaster.
