Rare music opportunity Friday in Catawba
A special final performance by The Hyde Band with Barry Webster along with a super influx of noted artists sets the stage for a big birthday bash live Friday at The Handlebar in Catawba.
Bringing together a talented musical collective for a showcase was club owner Jeff Towery’s primary goal. However, his club associates also saw the perfect chance to celebrate the boss’s birthday, which just happens to be Friday.
Along with The Hyde Band, find Ronnie Farrington, (formerly of Chubby Knuckles and now with The Holiday Band), plus Billy Nicholson (of Tantrum) and Robbie Webster (of Plain Jane fame) “to rock the night away,” said Towery. He also noted that “this will be Barry Webster’s final show with The Hyde before taking a hiatus to go into the studio,” adding to the significance of the event.
Expect a host of skilled performers who just happen to be longtime friends gathering together for a rare music opportunity. Jam possibilities guaranteed. Rock meets blues, funk and more for the birthday bash featuring The Hyde Band with Barry Webster and Friends live Friday at The Handlebar, 2610 N. Anderson Road, Catawba.
