'Farmer Wants a Wife' Star John Sansone Confirms Ella Langley Romance
Farmer Wants a Wife star John Sansonehas finally confirmed rumors that he and Ella Langley were once an item.
Speaking to Taste of Countryon Thursday, April 16, Farmer John, 26, confessed he and the country singer, 26, had a short-lived romance.
After being asked in the interview whether he was a fan of Langley's music, Sansone responded, "Why don't you just ask it Adison? Go ahead and ask."
The interviewer questioned Sansone about whether he and Langley were "friends." Sansone replied that they "dated for a couple of months" and clarified that the pair were no longer together.
Sansone also shared that the relationship blossomed after he slid into Langley's TikTok DMs.
"I don't remember [what I wrote.] Obviously something creative. It wouldn't just be ‘Hi.' I don't know," he shared with the outlet.
Speculation swirled about a potential relationship between Sansone and Langley in late 2025 when the music star's dog was featured in a post shared via Instagram by the reality TV star.
Langley later shared a carousel of photos and videos via her Instagram in November 2025 which featured the pair shooting shotguns together.
After appearing on Farmer Wants a Wife season 3, Sansone began a relationship with contestant Claire Dirette, who he chose over fellow finalist Lily Ayres.
The pair called it quits in August 2025, with Sansone confirming the breakup via an Instagram post that has since been deleted.
"I would like to share that Claire and I ended our relationship shortly after Lollapalooza, over a week ago," he said, "This was a mutual decision based on private challenges, and had nothing to do with any reposts. While I'll always appreciate and respect the time we shared together, I feel it's best to move forward separately. While our relationship was public, I wish for this chapter to remain as private as possible."
Dirette, 25, shared John's announcement via her Instagram Story at the time and quipped, "I ain't reading all that but ditto."
Prior to their breakup announcement, Dirette previously hinted at the split with a cryptic TikTok which showed her lip-synching lyrics from Sabrina Carpenter‘s "Don't Smile."
"Don't smile because it happened, baby, cry because it's over / I want you to miss me, I want you to miss me," Claire sang in the social media post, which included the Farmer Wants a Wifehashtag.
For her part, Langley has kept relatively tight-lipped about her relationships and dating history.
