Chris Pratt Family Guide: Everything to Know About His Wife and 4 Kids
Chris Pratt is a proud dad of four.
The Guardians of the Galaxy actor first welcomed son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris in 2012. Pratt and Faris, who tied the knot in 2009, later split in 2018.
Following his divorce from the Scary Movie star, Pratt moved on with wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, whom he married in 2019. The pair share daughters Lyla and Eloise and son Ford.

Anna Faris
Pratt and Faris met in 2007 while filming Take Me Home Tonight (2011). The pair began dating in 2008, and Pratt popped the question a few months later. The House Bunny star and Super Mario Bros. actor were married for eight years before they announced their separation.
"We tried really hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed," Pratt and Faris said in a joint statement at the time. "Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep the situation as private as possible moving forward. We still love each other and will always cherish our time together."
Pratt and Faris remained close friends and coparents after finalizing their 2018 divorce.
"I think it's just the general idea of just making sure that he's surrounded by a lot of love and happiness," Faris exclusively told Us Weekly of their son in January 2018. "We're really good at that and we have amazing friends and incredible family and we have, like, just the most amazing resources to make sure that he feels safe and protected and happy. And so far, he is."
Jack Pratt
Faris and Pratt welcomed son Jack in August 2012 and named him after Faris' father. Though the now-exes said they were thrilled about the birth of their "beautiful" son, Jack was born nine weeks premature. He spent the first month of his life in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Pratt and Faris were told that Jack had "severe brain bleeding" and could be developmentally disabled.
"The day came when I got to take Jack home, and the first years were filled with doctor's appointments, five surgeries, physical therapy, a lot of laughter - because Jack was and is the most adorable cutest thing I could ever have imagined," Faris shared at the time.
Jack's health improved by the time he turned 2. Faris and Pratt have largely kept him out of the spotlight, but they have shared a few updates on their son over the years. In March 2026, Pratt shared that Jack joined him in Japan.
"It's surreal. It's special for me because I brought my son, who's 13, and he loves Japanese food and sushi and Japanese culture," Pratt told Extra. "And, so to be able to share this part of my life with him and to explore this part of the world with him makes it really special."
Katherine Schwarzenegger
Pratt and Katherine, the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, met through church in 2018. The pair began dating soon after and got engaged in January 2019. Pratt and Katherine tied the knot six months later.
"6 years ago today, I married my best friend," Pratt captioned photos with Katherine via Instagram in June 2025. "You've shown me what love, grace, and strength look like. Thank you for making this life so full of joy, family, and faith. Happy Anniversary, Darling!"
Lyla Pratt
Pratt and Katherine welcomed their eldest daughter in August 2020.
"We are beyond thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt. We couldn't be happier and we feel extremely blessed! Love, Katherine and Chris," the pair wrote in a joint Instagram post.
Pratt said Lyla was thrilled to be a big sister.
"She loves her and loves to spend time with her, and just to see their relationship forming already is really heartwarming and makes me really excited," he shared after Eloise's birth in 2022.
Eloise Pratt
Two years later, the couple welcomed their second daughter, Eloise.
"We are so excited to announce the birth of our second daughter, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt. We feel beyond blessed and grateful," they announced in May 2022.
Pratt described Eloise as a "chill" baby who slept much of the day.
Ford Pratt
Pratt and Katherine announced the birth of son Ford in November 2024.
"We are overjoyed. Mama and baby are doing well and Ford's siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful," the spouses shared via Instagram.
Pratt and Katherine have opted to keep their kids' faces out of social media posts, with the Kat and Brandy author explaining that they wanted them to have privacy.
"We were allowed to be our own people and have our own identity and kind of choose to step into whatever form of being public we wanted to when we felt comfortable," Katherine said on Today in 2021. "It's something that's really important to my husband and I to give to our kids and to be able to have that privacy, and not necessarily show much of them on social media."
