CHESTER -- Mary Lee Feaster, 71, of 841 Meadowbrook Road died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2009, at Piedmont Medical center.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by King's Funeral Home, 135 Cemetery St., Chester.

The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, Debra Feaster Anderson, 828 Meadowbrook Road.

James Gravlin Sr.

CONCORD, N.C. -- James Peter Gravlin Sr., 57, of 1049 Boulder Drive, Concord, N.C., died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at the home. Mr. Gravlin was employed by Auto Repair as a mechanic. Mr. Gravlin served in the U.S. Army.

Born Nov. 6, 1951, in Oswego, N.Y., he was the son of the late Theodore Gravlin and the late Blanche Gravlin.

Survived by son, James P. Gravlin Jr. of Concord; daughter, Patricia Gravlin of Rock Hill, S.C.; grandchildren, Briana Gravlin, Brittany Gilchrist and Bryant Gilchrist; sister, Mary Gravlin of New York; three brothers, Lester Gravlin, Pete Gravlin and Frank Gravlin, all of New York.

Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord, N.C. A memorial service will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009 .

Julia Joseph

ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Julia W. Joseph, 84, of 340 Rock Grove Ave., died Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at Piedmont Medical Center.

The funeral service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Rock Grove AME Zion Church, with the Rev. Dr. Ralph V. Washington officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. A native of York County, she was the daughter of the late Elihue and Emma Davis Walls.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carrie Joseph Sheppard and was the widow of David L. Joseph Sr.

She is survived by her children, David (Rose) Joseph Jr., John Lee (Annie) Joseph, Julia Smith, Bobby Joseph, Emma Joseph and Pansy (Douglas) Mack; and her brother, Ulysses (Stella) Walls.

Mrs. Joseph may be viewed from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Robinson Funeral Home and from 2 p.m. until time of the service Saturday at the church. The family will receive friends at 325 Walnut St.

Pamela Minter

CHESTER -- Pamela J. Bower Minter, 48, of 521 Lancaster Road died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Leeds, with the Rev. Warren J. Baxter J. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at King's Funeral Home, 135 Cemetery St., Chester.

Willie Taylor

ROCK HILL -- Mr. Willie Taylor, 50, of 1111 Hale St., died Jan. 1, 2009, at his residence.
