Fire engulfs SC packing plant
A fire has engulfed a packing plant in Gaffney.
The Gaffney Fire Department stated in a post on social media at 6:20 a.m., that the agency was working a fire at the Old Sunny Slope Packing Plant at 1841 Old Georgia Highway in Gaffney.
WYFF reported that crews from Goucher, Corinth and Blacksburg had been summoned for backup. Several other agencies, including the S.C. Highway Patrol, are also on scene, the station reported.
