Discount Store robbed at gunpoint in Chester. Police searching for suspects
Police in Chester are investigating an armed robbery at a discount store Thursday morning.
The 99 Express store on Saluda Street was robbed, said Eric Williams, chief of the Chester Police Department.
No other details about the crime were released Thursday. No arrests have been made, police said.
Chester County Sheriff’s Office deputies and a K-9 unit assisted city police with a search for suspects after the incident, said Robert Sprouse, chief deputy.
