Several new retailers including a restaurant, apparel stores and a real estate firm’s regional headquarters will open by summer at a SouthPark mixed-use shopping center.

Seven businesses will join other retailers including anchor tenant Barnes & Noble at Morrison, at the intersection of Sharon and Colony roads, real estate investment firm Foundry Commercial said Wednesday. The businesses are all expected to open by summer.

Demand for specialty retailers and restaurants is growing, Keely Hines, senior vice president of Foundry Commercial, said in a statement. “The focus continues to be on leisure apparel, dining, personal services and home décor and improvement,” Hines said.

Bit By Seoul Food will open at 721 Governor Morrison St.

The new restaurant by the Seoul Food Meat Company in South End and another planned in NoDa will add to the lineup of restaurants at SouthPark Morrison that includes Bar Marcel, Firebirds, Sabor, Yama Asian Fusion, Yafo Kitchen and Golden Cow Creamery.

And, Sotheby’s International Realty, a luxury residential real estate brokerage firm, is opening its 5,200-square-foot regional headquarters at Morris.

Foundry Commercial said Wednesday that seven more businesses will open by summer at Morrison in SouthPark, including a new restaurant concept by Seoul Food Meat Company called Bit By Seoul, apparel stores and Sotheby’s International Realty’s regional headquarters.

More tenants at Morrison

Other new tenants at the shopping center, according to Foundry Commercial, are:

Anne Neilson Fine Art, a Charlotte-based art gallery showcasing a variety of styles and mediums. The gallery has been at the shopping plaza for five years but is moving into a new space.

Club Champion, a custom golf club fitter and builder.

Golf demand in the Charlotte area is one of the strongest in the company’s more than 90 markets, David Steele, director of real estate for Club Champion, said in a statement. Another location is at 721 Governor Morrison St. “This expansion opens up more fitting opportunities and more flexibility for our customers,” Steele said.

Las Olas owner Daniel James said in a statement that he’s been looking for a SouthPark location. The Charleston-based swimwear shop opened two years ago at Atherton Mill in South End. “We had a lot of feedback that we needed to be in SouthPark,” James said.

Maison by Kim Mauney, furniture, home decor goods and design consultation.

Naturepedic, organic mattresses and bedding.
