Dr. and Mrs. George Talbert Barron, Jr., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Alexander Barron, to Mr. John Mark Mills.

Mary Alexander is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Talbert Barron and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wilson Harper of Rock Hill. She will receive her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from Clemson University in May.

John Mark is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Erskine Mills of Blair, SC. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Erskine Mills, Jr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Gid Ramsey. The groom-elect earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Management and a minor in Forestry from Clemson University. He is employed with Glenn Associates Surveying in Jenkinsville, SC.

The wedding will take place May 23 at First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church Rock Hill.
