Ms. Crystal Truesdell of Westville, SC is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter Brittany Leigh Truesdell of Columbia, SC, also the daughter of the late Gerald “Jerry” Truesdell, Jr., to Steven Joseph Bailey of Columbia, SC. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Bailey of Rock Hill, SC.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jean G. Sims of Kershaw, SC and the late Donald Gardner, and Gerald Truesdell, Sr. of Westville, SC and the late Barbara F. Truesdell. Brittany is a graduate of North Central High School in Kershaw, SC and the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and is employed as Office Manager of Carolina Children’s Dentistry of Columbia, SC.

The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Charlotte Ann Davis of Watertown, New York and the late Arthur Jeffrey Davis of Catawba, SC, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Guy Pierce Bailey of Rock Hill, SC. Steven graduated from Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, SC and the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. He received an Associate Degree and Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, and he is employed as an Assistant Manager of Bank of America in Lexington, SC.

The wedding is planned for May 30, 2015 at Bethany Westville Baptist Church in Westville, SC.
