Meghan Leslie Keogh and James Creighton Hayes were united in marriage at six o’clock in the evening, Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Neely’s Creek Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Timothy Sharpe of Rock Hill, S.C. and Mr. David Joseph Keogh of Charlotte, N.C. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cornell Williams of Rock Hill and Dr. Thomas Joseph Keogh of Waterford, Ireland and the late Mrs. Keogh. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology at South Carolina State University.

The groom is the son of Senator and Mrs. Robert Wesley Hayes, Jr. of Rock Hill. He is the grandson of the late Judge and Mrs. Robert Wesley Hayes and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ruff Shurley, all formerly of Rock Hill. He is currently an Assistant Public Defender in the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.

Madison Lee Ayers of Rock Hill served as her sister’s Maid of Honor. Margaret Mellon Hayes of St. Augustine, Florida served as a bridesmaid.

Robert Wesley Hayes, Jr. of Rock Hill served as his son’s Best Man. Robert Wesley Hayes III of Columbia, S.C., and Garrett Clark Keogh of Rock Hill served as groomsmen. Ushers were Zachary Andrew Grosschmidt of Columbia, S.C., Brian Phillip Williams of Mauldin, S.C., and Elliott Ardrey Livingston of Greenville, S.C.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Friday night at the Rock Hill City Club.

The couple will honeymoon in Antigua and reside in Rock Hill.
