Caitlin Rebecca Musgrave and Benjamin Andrew Mardis were united in marriage on August 9, 2014 in Charleston, South Carolina. The ceremony was held at St. Luke’s Chapel at the Medical University of South Carolina at six o’clock in the evening with Dr. Roger Mardis, father of the groom, officiating. A dinner reception was given by the bride’s parents at the Old Exchange Building.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Paul Musgrave of Tega Cay, SC. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Musgrave of Penn Hills, PA and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Maranto of Oakmont, PA. Caitlin graduated from Fort Mill High School, The South Carolina Honors College at USC and the South Carolina College of Pharmacy, where she received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in solid organ transplant at MUSC.

The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Roger Dale Mardis of Scottsboro, AL. Andrew is the grandson of Mrs. Bette Lynne Mardis and the late Mr. William Blaine Mardis, Sr. of Florence, AL and Mrs. Mary Stephens and the late Mr. Billy Max Stephens of Boaz, AL. Andrew graduated from Scottsboro High School and received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Samford University in Birmingham, AL. He is a Clinical Pharmacist at MUSC.

Bridesmaids were Erin Christina Hunter of Dhaka, Bangladesh, Victoria Lee MacDonald of Newberry, SC, Mae Elizabeth Mardis, sister of the groom, of Mobile, AL, Melody Kathleen Oesterle of Dallas, TX and Kimberly Erin Wilde of Charlotte, NC.

Groomsmen were Gregory Bradford Bowling of Russellville, AL, William Andrew Bryson of Cleveland, TN, Jacob Thomas Dellinger of Macon, GA, Stephen Blaine Mardis and Zachary Paul Mardis, brothers of the groom, both of Birmingham, AL. Ethan Joseph Musgrave of Charlotte, NC and Adam Richard Musgrave of Fort Collins, CO, brother’s of the bride, served as ushers.

Flower girl was Miss Cecilia Susan Musgrave and Ring Bearer was Master Olin Joseph Musgrave, niece and nephew of the bride, both of Charlotte, NC.

Ceremony music was provided by a Classical Charleston string trio and Mr. Jimmy Ryan, bagpiper. Soloist was Mae Elizabeth Mardis, sister of the groom.

A bridal luncheon was given by Elizabeth Musgrave, sister-in-law of the bride, at Virginia’s on King. The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at Poogan’s Porch.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Napa Valley, CA and now reside in Charleston, SC.
