Well-known animal advocate Isabel Klee just took in her latest foster dog, a small pooch named Gracie, who is blind and has diabetes. The sweet pup has been up for adoption for over 100 days, and Klee is hoping to show potential pet parents what a wonderful addition she could make to a family.

It always takes a few days for foster dogs to decompress in a new environment, yet Gracie perked up pretty quickly under Klee's care and even started showing her fun side.

In the TikTok from @simonsits, Klee sat on the couch next to Gracie when all of a sudden the precious pooch got a little animated. She began playfully growling and pawing at Klee, almost like she was starting some sort of game.

"Our blind foster dog played with us for the first time," the onscreen text explained as Klee laughed at Gracie's adorable antics.

The frisky fur baby playfully nipped at Klee and seemed to have a case of seated zoomies. The foster mom continued the entertaining banter with Gracie and was thrilled to see the canine cutie come out of her shell.

Klee's dog Simon just quietly watched the goings-on without getting involved. As the brother to many fosters over the years, Simon is obviously used to many different pooch personalities. Klee gave him some extra kisses for being such a good sport, while Gracie gave her a look that said, "Hey, what about me?"

All Dog Breeds Are Susceptible to Diabetes

Canine diabetes can afflict any dog regardless of age, breed, or health. Unspayed females, seniors, obese dogs, dogs with Cushing's disease, or dogs with pancreatitis are at a higher risk for diabetes, though the exact cause of the illness is still unknown.

Insulin injections are typically the main treatment for canine diabetes. These are usually given twice per day and are relatively easy to administer. The needles tend to be very small and most dogs aren't fazed by receiving them.

Gracie doesn't look like anything is slowing her down and is already somewhat of a party girl, much to the delight of her foster mom and fur baby brother.
