Labrador Puppy and Orange Cat Match Energies Like Instant Best Friends
While some people might think that cats and dogs can't get along, that couldn't be further from the truth. Lots of cats love dogs, and lots of dogs love cats! It's just a matter of getting them when they're young and making sure they're introduced correctly.
Case in point: this sweet Labrador Retriever puppy and his sweet uncle orange cat. They're a match made in heaven, and the cat is making sure to show his new little bestie all the ropes:

Woodrush Working Labradors are a sight to behold. The dogs are trained to perfection, and they're very sweet. Plus, if this video is any indication, they all come at least a little bit familiar with cats. That's a really good skill to have!
The orange cat is known to all of the puppies as Uncle Tristan, and he loves them all equally. He gets to spend as much time with the puppies as he wants, and he even gets to go outside and play with them. Tristan is truly living his best life!

Tristan runs the house, though. All of the dogs there, even the older ones, respect him. They know what he likes and doesn't like, and they won't push him. That's how he stays so happy, healthy, and handsome:

I bet that puppy feels so special. They got to give Tristan a kiss! It's the only thing that even comes close to playing with him.
Labrador Retrievers Are Great With Cats
Labrador Retrievers have been regarded as one of the best dog breeds ever, basically since the breed was invented. There is no "best dog breeds" list without the Labrador Retriever, and for good reason!
Labrador Retrievers are highly intelligent, trainable, and very eager to please. They were bred to be hunting companions, after all: they're excellent listeners. They're also outgoing and open-minded, and typically get along great with:
- Strangers.
- Other dogs.
- Cats.
- Kids.
It's all about the introduction: you have to set them up for success. Always make sure they have their own space and don't feel stressed; that's how you turn your Labrador into everybody's best friend. Uncle Tristan would help, too!
