Parrot Starts Harmonizing With Mom and People Can't Stop Watching
Thanks to the internet, there's a whole world of funny, cute, and entertaining pets who get to show off their dazzling personalities and massive talents. Gideon, the Parrot, is among the most elite of "must-see viral birds" with his comical vocabulary arsenal and gorgeous colors, and this time, everyone's going gaga for Gideon's harmonious tunes with Mom.

As one of my favorite birds to ever exist, Gideon and his flair for the dramatic have my heart. Whether it's the perfect duet with his leading lady or the "wiiiings" pronunciation that's become my new stimming obsession, his Parrot talents are stellar. I have a feeling his hot new jam, "Giddy Goo," will hit the top of the charts any day now, but to end with his epic tongue trick really makes it for me!
The adorable 6-year-old Eclectus Parrot is surrounded by a loving flock of bird siblings who, no doubt, look up to this musical king. I can feel his unbridled passion in everything he says, sings, and exudes.

Gideon and Mom have these little song sessions often, and since he's grown up in his forever home from 16 weeks old, he's had a lot of time to make sure each version is better than the last. There are more than a few reasons this funny boy and his flock are nearing the 1 million follower mark, and Gideon is more than happy for his 15 minutes!

How Much Can Eclectus Parrots Retain?
As one of the more intelligent Parrot species, Eclectus Parrots, like Gideon, can retain quite a bit of information, including a large vocabulary, mimicry, routines, and complex sounds. Gentle, friendly, and affectionate, these birds are beloved for how well they pick up new words and phrases and repeat them with impeccable accuracy.
While Parrots of this kind require quite a bit of socialization and one-on-one time outside of their cages, they're like little toddlers soaking up every moment. You can tell by Gideon's beautiful harmony while singing with Mom that he's one really smart boy!
I can't wait to see what he picks up next, but I'm sure it'll include his most famous and precious "winnngs" for good measure!
