Doodle Misses the Jump by a Mile but Still Scores a 10/10 for Cuteness
We've all been there. It's your moment to shine, and no matter how ready you are to give your performance, you choke... sometimes miserably, but sometimes hilariously! Well, Maddox, the Labradoodle, should be used to the limelight. His mom is a big TikTok star, and he's already been in a few videos. Unfortunately, their most recent collaboration didn't end well for the Doodle, and although he wasn't hurt, his pride most certainly was.
@jessneff_ POV: you're just trying to have a normal day filming a reel and Maddox accidentally hits the car no doodles were harmed, I promise #sobermom#dogmomlife#labradoodle#momlifeunfiltered#dayinthelife
original sound - Jessica Neff
As Mom @jessneff_ starts recording herself and Maddox is getting ready for their outing, she opens the door to her Jeep and says, "Maddox, get in. Up!"
This was his moment, and he knew it. The Labradoodle runs behind his mom and quickly jumps toward the front seat of the SUV. Sadly, the sweet pup misses the mark, launches himself a bit too soon, and ends up crashing into the rear passenger door instead.

Maddox never stops wagging his tail, though. After hitting the back door of the Jeep, he quickly turns around and looks to his mom for guidance. In the reflection from the car, we can see she's already consoling him as she asks, "Oh my God, Maddox. Are you OK?"
Funny Reactions From Other Dog Lovers
If you're familiar with the breed, then you know this is "classic Doodle" behavior. Unfortunately, they tend to be a bit clumsy, and chaos seems to follow them wherever they go. As expected, the TikTok video's comment section quickly filled with funny reactions, including:
"I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting, but I can promise you it wasn't this!"
"He was under a lot of pressure while the camera was rolling!"
"I gasped the first time, but the other 3 times I watched it to laugh. I just love dogs!"
"I just showed this video to my Doodle, and he barked. I'm pretty sure he said, 'Bruh!'"
In all seriousness, I'm just thankful Maddox is OK-but as a Goldendoodle mom, this might be one of the most relatable clips I've ever seen!
