Woman Gets Unbelievably Close to Napping Sea Otter Mom and Baby-and the Internet Is Jealous
TikToker Lexi (@lexihilli) recently had a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounter while in Alaska, and we're not jealous at all... OK, maybe a little. While spending time on a dock, she found herself unbelievably close to a Sea Otter mom and her baby, as the pair peacefully floated, napped, and enjoyed a quiet moment together.
Watch as the relaxed mama drifts right up to Lexi while her pup nurses on her belly. Completely at ease, the Sea Otter seems unfazed by her nearby admirer, leading us to believe Lexi must give off some serious animal lover energy. Lexi was so excited, and we can totally understand why! Nothing this exciting ever happens to us, and we're jealous. She joked in the caption that she's a fairy princess now, and we can't disagree.
