Mama Cat Raises Her Kittens in a Tree, and the Internet Can't Get Enough
Most cats look for a quiet corner or cozy hiding spot to raise their kittens, but this mama cat had a different idea. TikToker Mariah Funk discovered that a tree in her front yard was hiding a sweet secret: A mama cat had apparently decided it was the perfect place to raise her litter of kittens.
Watch as the proud mama keeps a close eye on her babies while they pop out of their treehouse hiding spot one by one. The adorable sight of the curious kittens peeking out from their unusual nursery has viewers completely smitten and rooting for the little family.

We loved seeing all of their little heads pop out! Mariah shared more in the caption. "Happy late Mother's Day to our very own tree mama!!! She made that trunk her home and never left."
And this little family is being well cared for. In a follow-up video, Mariah shared that the mama let them remove the kittens from the tree and that they're fostering them all until they can be adopted after the stray cat is spayed.

Viewers Can't Get Enough of This Mama Cat's Treehouse Nursery
Mariah's video went viral, racking up more than 18 million views and thousands of comments. One theme that kept popping up from viewers was comparing the cats to a bird, specifically, an owl. @jackiofalltrades earned more than 406k likes when she shared a picture of an owl's body with a cat's head and simply said, "This is all I see."
Commenter @jpaiddd joked, "That's a meowl!" @sabb0sauraus wondered, "When do they usually learn to fly?"
Everybody agreed with @Hales Bales, who got more than 316k likes when she pointed out, "That's whimsical as f*ck!"
