Columbia ballet holding Nutcracker auditions in Lancaster
The Columbia City Ballet is holding auditions for a Lancaster production of the Nutcracker ballet.
The performance will be Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. at the Lancaster High School auditorium.
Auditions are Sept. 11 at the Stevens Auditorium on the campus of USC-Lancaster. The cost to audition is $10.
Auditions for age 4 to 6 are from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m; ages 7 to 10 from 4:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and ages 11 and up from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
The dress code for the audition is:
Ladies: Black leotard, pink tights, hair in slick bun, lip and cheek color with light eye shadow.
Gentlemen: White leotard or plain white tee shirt, black tights and black shoes or black tights with white socks and white shoes.
Bring pointe shoes for who have danced on pointe for more than two years.
