Fourteen students and three chaperones from Westminster Catawba Christian School went on a mission trip to Juan Tomas in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It’s the 10th year a team has made the trip to conduct Vacation Bible school, paint and make repairs at schools and playgrounds.

Community Bible Study: The Greater Lake Wylie Community Bible Study (CBS) will meet 9:30 a.m. Fridays beginning in September at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, Moss Road in Steele Creek. CBS is a non-church affiliated in-depth Bible study. The Lake Wylie class has been established more than 10 years and serves over 130 adults and 65 kids.
