Herlong Avenue Showmars holding grand opening

The Showmars at the Millwood Shopping Center on Herlong Avenue is holding its official grand opening Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m.

The location is Showmars’ 29th restaurant.

The Herlong Avenue location has 11 new menu items, including: the OMG (Oh my Greek) Feta pita, the Folly Beach shrimp pita, chicken mac and cheese, and grilled salmon.

Derrick Lindsay is the restaurant’s general manager. He has been general manager at Showmars’ restaurant at the Rock Hill Galleria.

At Saturday’s grand opening ceremony, patrons can spin the Showmars prize wheel and register to win free Showmars food for a year.
