More million-dollar homes continue real estate spending trends in York County
Million-dollar homes, commercial property investment and other transactions continue recent trends in high-dollar sales.
In February, almost two dozen property sales in York, Lancaster and Chester counties topped the $1 million mark. All but two of them came in York County. Sales in the three counties combined for $110 million. As in recent months, the number of homes selling at $1 million or more is up from a year ago.
Here, according to county land records, are the biggest February sales:
▪ Two Fort Mill properties sold Feb. 11 for $48.4 million. They include apartment properties at 2206 Magnolia Manor Lane and 912 Stockbridge Drive, at about 16 acres. The Arbors at Fort Mill sold from Plantation at Fort Mill to Triangle Arbors at Fort Mill of Gastonia, N.C. The sale includes a dozen apartment, clubhouse and other buildings.
The same buyer and seller completed a $26.4 million sale of more apartments at 2130 Reynolds Ridge Lane. More than seven acres there include about 125,000 square feet combined.
▪ An almost $4.9 million sale Feb. 18 includes 63 home site properties. DR Horton bought the Abrial Ridge subdivision lots in York from Forestar Real Estate Group.
▪ A 348-acre homesite at 1912 Benfield Road in western York County sold Feb. 25 for more than $3.5 million. Rock Hill-based Langham Branch Creek Quarry bought the site from Leitner Willis.
▪ An almost 3-acre commercial property at 1633 Katy Lane in Fort Mill sold Feb. 23 for almost $2.6 million. The property includes an almost 23,000-square-foot mini warehouse. A Florida-based company bought the site.
▪ Three vacant residential properties at more than 480 combined acres sold Feb. 21 for almost $2.6 million. Two Fort Mill-based limited partnerships bought the sites in Sharon, off S.C. 49.
▪ A 3,900-square-foot commercial property at 143 Highway 274 in Lake Wylie sold Feb. 10 for more than $2.2 million. Zaxbys Holdings bought the fast food restaurant site from Out Parcel Holdings.
▪ Nearly an acre of commercial property at 204 Gateway Farm Road in Clover sold Feb. 18 for $2.2 million. The convenience store site includes two commercial buildings at almost 6,000 combined square feet. States Avenue of Clover bought from Auto Loans 4 U.
▪ A 3,000-square-foot fast food commercial site at 2763 Home Depot Blvd. in Rock Hill sold Feb. 10 for $1.9 million. Zaxbys Properties bought the site from Zaxbys Holdings.
▪ An almost 3-acre light industrial site at 9080 Northfield Dr. in Indian Land sold Feb. 2 for just less than $1.6 million. Pedowicz Machinery Movers of Connecticut bought the site from 9080 Northfield Drive LLC.
▪ Three residential properties sold Feb. 9 for a combined $1.6 million. Zillow Homes Property Trust sold the sites to an Arizona company. Properties are on Ramblewood Court, Hicklin Drive and Guiness Place, all in Rock Hill.
▪ A Hamilton Woods Court home in Lake Wylie sold Feb. 23 for almost $1.6 million.
▪ A Coltharp Road home on almost 10 acres in Fort Mill sold Feb. 16 for $1.4 million.
▪ A $1.3 million sale includes 11 properties on Haystack Avenue in Indian Land. Stanley Martin Homes bought the properties Feb. 2 from VK Covington.
▪ A Catchpoint Drive home in Rock Hill sold Feb. 14 for $1.2 million.
▪ A 123-acre property west of Filbert Highway, just south of Clover, sold Feb. 16 for $1.1 million. Edmunds Farms in York bought the property.
▪ A Belden Drive home in Fort Mill sold Feb. 17 for $1.1 million.
▪ A Horton Grove Road home in Fort Mill sold Feb. 10 for $1.1 million.
▪ A Commodore Point Drive home in Lake Wylie sold Feb. 9 for $1.1 million.
▪ A Trelawn Street home in Fort Mill sold Feb. 23 for $1 million.
▪ A commercial property at 1,800 square feet sold Feb. 16 for $1 million. The 1014 Regent Parkway address in Fort Mill sold from Hillcrest Foods to Waffle House.
▪ A more than 5-acre residential site in Fort Mill sold Feb. 11 for $1 million. Hudson Property Management of Indian Trail, N.C., bought the site off Flint Hill Road, near Lilly Pond Drive.
