Dick’s Sporting Goods will open Rock Hill store this weekend with giveaways and games
Dick’s Sporting Goods will celebrate the opening of its new Galleria store this weekend with giveaways, discounts and games.
The new store has preview days 9 a.m.-9 p.m. starting Wednesday. Grand opening events are Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. An online coupon lets customers take off $10 on purchases of $25 or more this weekend.
The first 100 adult customers in line each day this weekend will get a gift card with a mystery amount. The top amount is a $500 card. There will be a sweepstakes for a prize pack valued at $500 and a challenge event for prizes that includes photos, agility courses, trivia and games.
The new store at 2321 Dave Lyle Blvd. moves the retailer from its longtime spot on the opposite side of Interstate 77, in the movie theater shopping center across from Manchester Meadows. Last month, the company held a hiring event for more than 50 full-time, part-time and temporary positions.
