Carowinds to offer family-friendly ‘dine-in’ movie nights

Carowinds is offering family-friendly “dine-in” movie nights on the big screen this summer, starting on Saturday.

Guests of all ages are welcome each Saturday night to watch recent animated box office movies while they eat at Harmony Hall, the 26,500-square-foot market/showplace Carowinds opened last summer.

The movies will start at 8:30 p.m. each Saturday through Aug. 15. The line-up includes:

Saturday: “Despicable Me

July 18: “Frozen

July 25: “Planes: Fire & Rescue

Aug. 1: “Brave

Aug. 8: “The Princess and the Frog

Aug. 15: “Big Hero 6
