Rock Hill receives top honor for performance management
The International City/County Management Association has awarded Rock Hill’s performance management efforts with a certificate of excellence.
ICMA assesses a local government’s performance management program and encourages analysis of results by comparing to peers and gauging performance over time. Performance management aids in reducing costs, prioritizing programs, quality improvement. accountability and transparency. Rock Hill is among 33 jurisdictions receiving the Certificate of Excellence – the highest level awarded.
Criteria for the certificate of excellence include reporting of performance data to the public, use of performance data in strategic planning and operational decision-making and surveying of the residents and local government employees

Continental has voluntarily recalled approximately 3,800 passenger vehicle tires. The tires involved in the recall are Continental ContiProContact P205/65 R15 95T XL, produced in February 2015 and sold in the replacement market only.
The tires may experience tread separation. The tires can be identified with the Department of Transportation code VY UR 471B 0615. Only the production DOT week 0615 is affected. Continental has not received any reports of accidents or injuries resulting from this condition.
