A North Carolina company is moving its headquarters across the border to Indian Land

Snider Fleet Solutions

A North Carolina company will move to Lancaster County, bringing a projected $6.9 million of investment and 167 new jobs.

Snider Fleet Solutions works in transportation and construction. Snider distributes new and retread commercial and industrial tires. It also provides mechanical and other services. The company has 80 locations nationwide.

The company comes from the Greensboro and Newton areas of North Carolina. The new address is 1081 Red Ventures Drive in Indian Land. The company should be operational next month.

“This relocation is an exciting next step in cementing our future as the premier provider in our industry,” company CEO Marty Herndon said in an announcement Tuesday.

Herndon said corporate staff has been working from multiple offices in the Carolinas and now staffers will be able to come together in one place. Gov. Henry McMaster, in Tuesday’s announcement, said Snider Fleet will help grow the state reputation as the top exporter of tires in the country.

“We look forward to helping them get settled in their new Indian Land corporate office as they join the expanding list of corporate headquarters in Lancaster County,” said Steve Harper, Lancaster County Council chair.
