This restaurant with salads, smoothies, wraps + more has closed its doors in Rock Hill

Blend Riverwalk, a restaurant nestled in a walkable development near the Catawba River that was focused on fresh foods, has closed.

It’s unclear whether the move is temporary or will become permanent. Owner Peter Demas responded to an email from CharlotteFive, saying: “I have the business up for sale.”

A sign posted on the door since late April reads, “Closed today! Sorry!!” Its website has been taken down, but its social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram remain up.

Blend has been a popular eatery in Rock Hill and had won The Herald’s Going Out bracket poll for best new or announced food spots in April 2023.

Caitlin Demas told The Herald at the time that the family had received lots of positive feedback from the community, with many people sharing that they had voted for them.

“I mean, we’re just kind of a different spot for Rock Hill, a new type of location,” Caitlin Demas said. “There’s not a ton of healthy options here.”
