Charlotte area has more than 60 fast-growing private companies in new Inc. 5000 list
The Inc. 5000 list tracks the fastest-growing private businesses in the U.S., and this year, over 60 Charlotte-area businesses made the annual list.
In fact, Charlotte-based Top Tier Solar Solutions placed fourth on the Inc. 5000 list this year.
Top Tier Solar Solutions was founded in 2019 by brothers Samuel Van Wynen and Jacob Van Wynen. It sells and installs residential solar equipment.
“Our main priority has always been on ensuring the overall health of our company and operations, while sustaining our integrity,” CEO Samuel Van Wynen said in a statement. “Our growth is merely a byproduct of that discipline.”
The rankings are based on three-year revenue growth, and the list is considered a benchmark for entrepreneurial work.
The Charlotte area put 61 businesses on the Inc. 5000 list this year. And It had 17 in the top 1,000. Here’s a look at how those 17 businesses ranked.
