Charlotte Premium Outlets adds 4 stores, including largest US beauty retailer
Charlotte Premium Outlets in Steele Creek kicking off the new year with the debut of four retailers, including the nation’s largest beauty retailer, Ulta Beauty with a salon.
Buckle apparel and accessories store is expected to open on Feb. 9, according to the upscale shopping center’s website.
Offline by Aerie and Portland Leather Goods will open this spring, followed by Ulta Beauty on in the summer, mall owner Simon said Tuesday. Ulta debuts July 1 while the other two stores open earlier, on April 1, according to the mall website.
About the new Charlotte Premium Outlets stores
The new stores will join about 105 others at the open-air shopping center in southwest Charlotte.
- Ulta Beauty will open across from Adidas Outlet. The store will feature a full hair, brow and makeup service salon, plus ear-piercing. Ulta Beauty features more than 30,000 products from 600 beauty brands.
- Portland Leather Goods will open next to Tommy Hilfiger. Known for its heirloom-quality craftsmanship and minimalist design, it will be the brand’s first store in the Carolinas and second in the Southeast.
- This will be the only dedicated OFFLINE by Aerie store in Charlotte. The activewear brand offers stylish, high-performance pieces suitable for workouts, errands and casual wear.
- Buckle will open near Columbia and Old Navy. Buckle is known for on-trend apparel for men, women and children.
Several stores opened last year at the mall including Allen Edmonds, Hey Dude and Pandora. Shake Shack also opened in July.
Charlotte Premium Outlets at 5428 New Fashion Way opened in 2015.
New stores at other Simon malls around Charlotte
Simon also owns SouthPark Mall at 4400 Sharon Road with about 170 stores, and Concord Mills at 8111 Concord Mills Blvd. in Concord with 190 stores.
SouthPark will add watchmakers IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Panerai; Tilebar, a tile and bath store; and European fashion Suitsupply, according to the mall’s website. Opening timeframes are not provided.
Several recent openings include North Carolina debuts by trendy Spanish fashion retailer Zara and Australian brand QUAY Eyewear.
And last year, the mall also added menswear store Mizzen + Main; national men’s apparel brand Johnnie-O; CAMP, a family experience company that combines retail and immersive activities and events; Sarku Japan restaurant; the iconic watchmaker Swatch; Laguna Beach, California, jeweler Gorjana; and clothing brand Tommy Bahama’s first Marlin Bar.
Latte Factory and beauty and makeup store Miss A will open at Concord Mills, according to the mall’s website. No opening timeframes are provided.
