Sam's Club is opening new location in this state in July
Seven months into 2026, Sam's Club continues to expand its store fleet, including by opening a new location in the southern U.S. this July.
The new location will open on July 30 in Tennessee, Sam's Club spokesperson Katelynn Gorton told USA TODAY this week. Sam's Club is opening four locations in 2026, Gorton confirmed on July 6, and seven locations for the fiscal year which started on February 1 and ends on January 31, 2027.
Among the four new locations in 2026 is one in Tennessee, one in Texas and two in California. The openings come after Sam's Club welcomed one new location in 2025 in Tempe, Arizona.

More Sam's Club warehouses for the southern U.S., West Coast
Gorton said the store opening on July 30 will be in Lebanon, about 30 miles east of Nashville.
Other openings coming in the near future include a 169,570-square-foot store in Baytown, Texas, part of the Greater Houston metropolitan area. Baytown Mayor Charles Johnson said in a March 2025 news release that locals were looking forward to the opening.
"Residents have been asking for this store and now they are getting it, but remember this is just the beginning," he said.
