Rock Hill’s Marble Slab Creamery closes after losing lease

The Marble Slab Creamery in Rock Hill has closed after five years.

A note posted on the door of the Manchester Village establishment at 1910 Cinema Drive said the business lost its lease. Patrons with gift cards or cake vouchers can redeem them at the Charlotte location, 7800-C Rea Road.

A spokeswoman for the national office of Marble Slab Creamery said each location is individually owned. She said the company would be willing to work with a qualified franchisee to return Marble Slab Creamery to Rock Hill.
