Firehouse Subs is opening its second Rock Hill location on Friday off Dave Lyle Boulevard.

The latest Firehouse Subs restaurant is at 1969 Canterbury Glen Lane across from the Manchester shopping center. It is open Sunday – Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. The local owners are Robert Tirinato and Cindy Tirinato.

Firehouse Subs offers medium and large hot specialty subs, including its top seller, the Hook & Ladder sub, served with smoked turkey breast and Virginia honey ham smothered with Monterey Jack cheese. Firehouse Subs also offers its Under 500 Calories menu which has six subs and four copped salads.

Firehouse Subs restaurants have hand-painted murals which pay tribute to the local community. The Rock Hill mural depicts two firefighters about to enjoy a delicious Firehouse Subs lunch with their Dalmatian at Fountain Park, next to a Rock Hill Fire Department truck. Chief Mural Artist Joe Puskas and his team paint every mural from his studio at Firehouse Subs Headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida. Since the opening of the first Firehouse Subs in 1994, Puskas has painted more than 950 murals.

The other Rock Hill Firehouse Subs location is on Celanese Road.
