Fort Mill Century 21 agent among top in country
Bill Hargrove of Century 21 First Choice of Fort Mill was named the top sales agent in North Carolina and South Carolina among Century 21’s approximately 2,000 agents, and the No. 4 spot in the nation among all Century 21 agents for 2015.
Hargrove has been awarded Centurion, Double Centurion, and now Grand Centurion honors with Century 21. He has built homes and has won National Custom Builder of the Year awards for his quality and expertise.
Hargrove is on the board of the Homebuilders Association of York County. He is chairman of its Government Affairs Committee, and is a member of the board of directors for 2016. Since 2014, he has served on the York Preparatory Charter School Board as its finance chair.

▪ American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning awarded Gene Lucas, owner of Hospitality Heating and Air Conditioning of Rock Hill, a first-place Pinnacle award for the Piedmont and the Upstate and a second-place Pinnacle award for top dealers in South Carolina.
This is the seventh award Lucas has received for being an American Standard Customer Care Dealer and the fifth Pinnacle award. It is the first time the company has received an award for overall state achievement.
The Pinnacle award is given to Customer Care dealers within the American Standard Heating and Air Conditioning program that recognizes the top Sales and Service Dealers.

▪ Carowinds is partnering with the Advanced Reservations Systems, Inc., which will allow aRes Travel to integrate their private-label booking engine with the Carowinds’ website. This will allow site visitors to research the park, and book hotels, deals and travel packages in the Charlotte area.
“aRes Travel brings to Carowinds state-of-the-art technology that will conveniently allow guests to research and book lodging options with enhanced packages and park tickets, all with a personal touch,” said John Taylor, vice president of marketing, Carowinds. “This is just another way we’re strengthening the destination positioning of our park, and the Charlotte area. With our more than $50 million expansion that includes two new epic attractions this season, Carowinds is transitioning to a more multi-day vacation adventure.”
The new booking platform will launch later this month at carowinds.com. Carowinds opens its 2016 season March 25.
