Rock Hill Herald email down during Gmail outage

Staff members at The Herald and its community newspapers were without email for a second day Thursday following widespread service outages for Google’s Gmail.

The outage, which began Wednesday, also affects the Fort Mill Times and the Lake Wylie Pilot.

The outage has caused upheaval among Gmail users.

Herald readers who need to submit information can fax to 803-329-4021 until the outage is fixed.

The outage issues have been concentrated on the East Coast and in parts of Western Europe.
