Rock Hill and Clover are gearing up for St. Patrick’s Day festivals.

Clover’s 17th annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday along Main Street. Events include a 5K run/walk and an Irish bench press competition for men and women, both hosted by the Clover YMCA, a dog show and a day of live entertainment.

Admission and entertainment is free. Carnival rides require purchased tickets. More details at www.cloversc.org.

The 2015 St. Patrick’s Day on Main Festival will be 4:30-9:30 p.m. March 17 in downtown Rock Hill.

The festival will kick off with a lone bagpiper and features live music from the Federal Clan Kings and Carolina Ceili, an Irish/Celtic folk band from Asheville, Irish dancers from Walsh Kelley School of Irish Dancing and Rince na h’Eireann Dance School of Traditional Irish Dance, arts & crafts vendors, a large amusement area for children and food and beverages.
