York County man dies after lawn mower overturns, coroner says

A York County man has died after the lawn mower he was riding on flipped onto him, police and coroner officials said.

The man’s identity has not yet been released by the York County Coroner’s Office.

However, the death Friday afternoon is being investigated as an accident, York County Coroner Sabrina Gast said.

The man’s son-in-law found him underneath the zero-turn mower around 3:30 p.m. Friday, a York County Sheriff’s Office report shows.
