Want a chance to win $510 million? Powerball reaches 5th largest jackpot

If you’re picking up solar eclipse glasses this weekend, you may want to also pick up a Powerball ticket.

Saturday’s Powerball jackpot has reached its fifth-largest total -- $510 million. Jackpots reached so far in 2017 have totaled $435 million and $447 million.

In South Carolina, Wednesday night’s drawings saw more than 37,000 wins.

Players interested in taking a chance on Saturday’s jackpot would have a cash option of $324 million.

Powerball tickets are $2 and available at most convenience stores and grocery stores.
