Man treated after being stabbed multiple times, Rock Hill police say

A man was stabbed multiple times on Chesnut Street late Thursday night, according to a Rock Hill Police Department report.

Officers said the man was covered in blood and was having a hard time breathing when they arrived just before 11 p.m., the report says.

A witness told police she heard a man yelling threats and shouting that he was there to kill someone outside her house Thursday night, the report says.

Another witness told police she heard the yells and saw the victim leaning against her car outside, the report says.

The victim was transported to Piedmont Medical Center. Officers were told he had several stab wounds on his back and possibly a collapsed lung, the report says.

Police said there was blood on the witness’ car and a trail of blood down Chesnut Street, the report says.

Police had no information on the victim's current condition.

No arrests have been made.
