Alabama fugitive caught running in underwear at Rock Hill park
A man wanted in Alabama is in custody in Rock Hill after he was found running around Cherry Park in his underwear Sunday, police said.
Rock Hill Police Department officers arrested Gary Eugene Hallman, 30, after being told that a shirtless man was running around the city park around 8 a.m. Sunday.
A witness who had called police told officers that he saw Hallman running around the park in his boxer shorts, an incident report states.
Officers detained Hallman. After a computer check, they found that Hallman was wanted in Alabama for failure to show up for court.
Hallman was taken to the Rock Hill city jail, where he awaits extradition to Alabama.
Hallman was also put on trespass notice by park officials.
